Football: UEFA holds Champions League group stage draw

ANKARA 

Turkish football club Besiktas will face Monaco, Porto and Leipzig in Group G of the Champions League.

Europe's top international club-level football tournament draw was held in Monaco on Thursday.

The groups were drawn as follows:

Group A: Benfica, Manchester United, Basel and CSKA Moscow.

Group B: Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Anderlecht and Celtic.

Group C: Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Roma and Qarabag.

Group D: Juventus, Barcelona, Olympiacos and Sporting Lisbon.

Group E: Spartak Moscow, Sevilla, Liverpool and Maribor.

Group F: Shakhtar Donetsk, Manchester City, Napoli and Feyenoord.

Group G: Monaco, Porto, Besiktas and Leipzig.

Group H: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham Hotspur and Apoel.

The first matches on the group stage will be played on Sept. 12-13.
