Fenerbahce appoint ex-manager Pereira to coach senior team

ISTANBUL

Fenerbahce hired ex-manager Vitor Pereira to coach the senior football team on a two-year contract, the Turkish Super Lig side confirmed on Friday.

The Istanbul club re-signed with Pereira, who managed the football team during the 2015-2016 campaign, Fenerbahce said in a statement.

Under the helm of the Portuguese manager, Fenerbahce had finished the Super Lig in the second place with 22 wins, eight draws, and four defeats.
