ISTANBUL
English Premier League club Chelsea have signed Barcelona winger Pedro on Thursday.
The London team confirmed the signing of the 28-year-old Spanish winger on their website.
Meanwhile Barcelona announced that Chelsea had paid 27 million euros ($30.1 million) for the transfer of Pedro Rodriguez. In addition, a bonus payment of 3 million euros ($3.3 million) will be paid to Barcelona if the player reaches his performance targets.
A product of the Barcelona youth academy, Pedro -- playing for the Catalan club since 2005 -- scored 11 goals in 50 matches last season.
The Spanish international scored the winning goal for Barcelona against Sevilla in the extra time of the 2015 UEFA Super Cup on August 11.
