Media spokesperson for the Local Coordination Committees of Syria (LCC) Ahmed Mohamad confirmed the report, saying that ISIL transferred the prisoners to their bases outside the city before pulling out, and Nusra Front members occupied ISIL bases.
No statement has yet been issued by ISIL.
At least 336 people have been killed in the past week of clashes between FSA and ISIL, and 70 bodies were found on Wednesday at an ISIL detention center in Aleppo's Qadi al-Askar district, conquered by the Islamic Front.
