Syrian opposition forces said they killed 70 Daesh fighters in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo on Friday.
Ahmed Mohammed, representative of the Damascus Front, said the opposition’s Ahrar Al-Sham Brigade killed 50 Daesh militants during clashes in Shaykh Riya village in Aleppo.
He said that Damascus Front’s forces also killed 20 Daesh militants in a grad missile attack in the town of Esunbul.
Mohammed added that Daesh militants wanted to attack the Sheyh Riyh village with a car bomb, but opposition forces destroyed it before the militants were able to carry out the attack.
