The trade volume on Turkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 19% to 76.85 million Turkish liras on Friday, Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to 64.56 million liras.
On Friday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 9,690.04 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 7.93 million cubic meters.
Turkiye received 247.88 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 14.76 liras at 1103 GMT on Saturday.
