The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 172.6% to 11.43 million Turkish liras on Sunday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) and Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS) data showed on Monday.
Total trade on Saturday amounted to about 31.16 million liras.
On Sunday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 14,282.13 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 801,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 132.8 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Sunday.
US$1 equals 41.79 liras at 2.50 p.m. local time (1150 GMT) on Monday.
