The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and between 12 a.m. and 1.00 a.m. local time (1600-1900 and 2100-2200 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 110,86 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 27% to around 864 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,574.58 liras and 1,560.87 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and between 12 a.m. and 1.00 a.m. local time (1600-1800 and 2100-2200 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 780 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.51 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
