The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 216.01 Turkish liras at 09.00 local time, the lowest was 100 liras at 02.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Tuesday's electricity market increased by 1.51 percent to 80.18 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday is calculated as 179.81 liras and 181.98 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Tuesday was 216.44 liras at 10.00 local time, the lowest was be 168.99 liras at 19.00 local time.
US$1 equals 3.75 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
