The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 330.43 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time, and the lowest will be 271.77 liras at 02.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Thursday showed a increase of 5.35% to 136.54 million liras, compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 314.38 liras and 316.89 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday was set as 336.01 Turkish liras at 17.00 and 18.00 local time, and the lowest was 250 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local time
US$1 equals 5.69 Turkish liras at 11.29 GMT on Thursday.
