Türkiye’s Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır on Tuesday praised the contributions of Turks achieving global success, describing them as a source of pride for the nation, during the launch of the Global Turks Foundation in New York.

The foundation, established to highlight the achievements of Turks worldwide and strengthen Türkiye’s strategic position, brought together policymakers and business leaders.

Among the participants were Presidential Investment and Finance Office head Ahmet Burak Daglioglu, Deputy Foreign Minister Levent Gumrukcu, Türkiye-US Business Council (TAIK) Chair Murat Ozyegin, AmCham Türkiye Chair Emre Karter and Foundation President Aysegul Dicle Aydın.

Kacır noted that the Turkish delegation, during the 80th UN General Assembly, had met executives of global companies to present Türkiye’s investment opportunities and technological progress under its “National Technology Initiative.”

Highlighting the role of Turks making contributions worldwide, Kacır said: “We strive both to accelerate Türkiye’s technological advancement and to strengthen our qualified human resources.”

“Türkiye’s growing strength means a brighter future for humanity,” Kacır added, emphasizing innovation and investment as key drivers of the vision.
