Turkish dailies on Tuesday covered the suspect of the Paris killings of three Kurdish women taken to court, arrest of the 21 suspected members of the terrorist DHKP/C in Istanbul, and Dutch football player Sneijder's arrival to Istanbul. The Anadolu Agency does not verify these stories and does not vouch for their accuracy.
All Turkish dailies that had been covering the news story widely headlined on Tuesday the only suspect was a member of terrorist PKK and the incident was an ''internal feud''. All the dailies covered the remarks of Paris public prosecutor Francois Molins who held a press conference on the issue on Monday.
Daily RADIKAL headlined "perpetrator is found, the reason is unclear" saying that footage from the security cameras proved that Guney was in the building by the time of the murder. Quoting Molins, daily said gunshot residue was found in the suspect's bag.
"French prosecutor says the executions are done by the terrorist organisation" headlined daily TURKIYE adding that the suspect Omer Guney was a member of the PKK for two years. Prosecutor said the reason for the murders was ''internal feud''.
Daily CUMHURIYET said Guney withdrew 1000 Euros from Sakine Cansiz's account with her card a day before the killings and 930 Euros were found in his pocket on the day of murder.
Most of the dailies covered the arrest of the 21 suspected members of the terrorist Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front (DHKP/C), including 9 lawyers. They were claimed receiving messages and orders from the jailed leader of the terrorist DHKP/C.
Most of the Turkish dailies covered the arrival of the Dutch football player Wesley Sneijder, who made an agreement with Turkish Galatasaray team, to Istanbul. Hundreds of Galatasaray fans gathered at the airport hours before he landed in Istanbul to welcome the Dutch star.
