ANKARA
Monaco's Prince Albert II, ahead of his official talks, visited Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, in Ankara, the Turkish capital, on Tuesday.
Prince Albert laid a wreath at Ataturk's Mausoleum and observed a minute of silence.
Prince Albert later signed Aniktabir Special Registry.
Prince Albert also visited the Ataturk and War of Independence Museum in Anitkabir.
Turkish president formally welcomes Prince Albert II of Monaco
Turkish President Abdullah Gul formally welcomed Prince Albert II of Monaco at Cankaya Presidential Palace in Ankara on Tuesday.
Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek and Energy & Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz also attended the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, Gul and Prince Albert II held a bilateral meeting.
