KONYA
An inauguration ceremony will take place in Ankara on December 12 for the Blue Tunnel and Bagbasi Dam which will connect the Konya Plain with potable water.
Considered to be the "dream of 100 years", the Blue Tunnel will facilitate the arrival of 414 million cubic meters of water to Konya Plain which normally flows into the Mediterranean Sea.
