ANKARA
Anadolu Agency (AA) won five awards in "Zoom 2011", the 17th International Contest of the Best News Footage of the Year.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul attended the award ceremony which took place in Rixos Hotel.
Ozkan Bilgin, Tolga Ciplak, Celaleddin Gurbuz and Yakup Bakar from AA won five awards in various categories in the contest.
"Zoom 2011" was firstly held in 1996. It was started to be held on international level as of 2009. Participants from 25 countries competed in the contest.
