Turkish Transportation, Maritime & Communications Minister Binali Yildirim said that it was necessary to invest in infrastructure to overcome the global economic crisis.
Because crisis is temporary, but infrastructure is permanent, added Yildirim after the International Transport Forum in Leipzig on Thursday.
This year's theme in the forum was Seamless Transport, he noted.
These meetings stress the importance of transportation ways to complete each other, not compete each other, said Yildirim.
