Real Madrid center-back Sergio Ramos will be out of action for five weeks due to a knee injury.
"Los Blancos" (The Whites) manager Carlo Ancelotti said in a press conference on Friday that Sergio Ramos was suffering from a major injury with a torn knee.
"We estimate that Ramos will be out for five weeks," he said.
The 28-year-old Spanish international sustained the injury during a league game against Sevilla on Wednesday.
Several Real Madrid regulars such as James Rodriguez, Pepe and Luka Modric will also miss the derby against Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
Title contenders Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid will meet at Vicente Calderon Stadium.
The showdown will kick off at 16:00 CET (1500GMT).
