The world-famous Spanish side Real Madrid parted ways with their Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti on Monday.
The club informed Ancelotti about the contract termination during a meeting held at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will hold a press conference starting at 20.00 CET (1800 GMT).
During the Ancelotti era, Real Madrid won the UEFA Champions League title and Copa del Rey trophy -- Spanish King's Cup -- last season.
Real Madrid completed this season as runners-up in La Liga. They were eliminated by Juventus in Champions League semis, and left the race for Copa del Rey in the round 16.
