DAMASCUS
At least 72 people, including nine children, were killed in attacks staged by the Syrian regime with heavy weapons in several cities across the country on Tuesday, opposition activists said.
Syrian regime forces killed 15 people in the suburbs of capital Damascus , 27 in Aleppo, 19 in Homs, 3 in Idlib and Daraa each, 2 in Hama and Quneitra each, 1 in Syrian port of Latakia, air and land offensives across the country, said the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group which tracks civilian and dissident casualties.
The Syria Local Coordination Committee (LCC) stated that Syrian regime attacked with howitzer ,tank and rockets on Darayyah, Moaddamiyah, Douma, Berze, Yarmouk, of capital Damascus.
LCC also said several people were wounded in a howitzer attack in Saleheyye Bazaar in Damascus and severe blasts took place at Baghdad street.
