Turkey's daily electricity consumption decreased by 1.18% to 861,217 megawatt-hours on Friday, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Saturday.
Hourly power consumption peaked at local time 18.00 with 41,121 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed.
The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest daily point of 29,024 megawatt-hours at local time 05.00.
Electricity production totaled 861,951 megawatt-hours on Friday, marking a 1.47% decrease compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from natural gas reaching 235,658 megawatt-hours. Imported coal and hydro storage plants followed with 204,095 megawatt-hours and 148,239 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Friday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 9,545 megawatt-hours, while imports reached 8,811 megawatt-hours.
