Russia's non-energy exports are expected to exceed $149 billion this year, said Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Roman Chekushov.
Speaking at the "Russian Business Week" event in the capital Moscow, Chekushov gave an assessment of Russia's non-energy export figures.
Chekushov highlighted the increasing trend in Russia's non-energy exports, noting that non-energy export volume is expected to total $149.2 billion this year, with the potential to surpass $155 billion next year.
Chekushov stated that they expect the volume to reach $250 billion by 2030 and expressed plans to boost non-energy exports.
Russia is taking steps to reduce its dependence on energy exports and diversify its exports due to Western sanctions on the sector. Under Russian President Vladimir Putin's orders, the country aims to increase non-energy exports by 60% by 2030 compared to the volume in 2023.
