The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 223.43 Turkish liras at 14.00 local time, the lowest will be 142.48 liras at 02.00 and 03.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Tuesday's electricity market increased by 7.28 percent to 69.8 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday is calculated as 195.25 liras and 200.51 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Tuesday was 214.91 liras at 16.00 local time, the lowest was 123.14 liras at 04.00 local time.
US$1 equals 3.40 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
