The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,131 Turkish liras between 08.00-11.00 local time (0500-0800 GMT) and 13.00 and 22.00 local time (1000-1900 GMT), while the lowest will be 450.23 liras at 00.00 local time (2100 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 9.6% to 506.1 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 973.41 liras and 976.99 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,131 liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500-0800 GMT), with the lowest at 601 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 9.52 Turkish liras at 1113 GMT on Tuesday.
