The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,594.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 11% to around 1.24 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,173.70 liras and 2,196.56 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 liras between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1500 - 1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,594.97 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT).
US$1 equals 27.04 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
