The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish between 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10.00 a.m., 5.00 p.m. and 6. p.m. local time (0500 - 0600 - 0700 - 1400 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 2,139.99 liras between 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday’s electricity market shows an increase of 0.5% to 1.96 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,883.73 liras and 1,893.81 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m, 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1416,70 liras at 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. local time (0000, 0100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 35.65 liras at 2.33 p.m. local time (1133 GMT) on Wednesday.
