The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,345 Turkish liras at 09.00 and 10.00 local time (0600 and 0700 GMT), between 16.00 and 18.00 local time (1300 - 1500 GMT) and at 20.00 local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest will be 729.99 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed a decrease of 12.6% to 695.99 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,173.58 liras and 1,188.80 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 1,345 liras between 09.00 and 11.00 local time (0600 - 0800 GMT) and at 16.00 local time (1300 GMT), with the lowest at 700.01 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 13.60 Turkish liras at 1121 GMT on Thursday.
