The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,524 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500 - 0800 GMT), between 14.00 and 18.00 local time (1100 - 1500 GMT), and at 20.00 local time (1700 GMT) while the lowest is determined as 900 liras at 01.00 and 04.00 local times (2200 and 0100 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 6.8% to 713.57 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,357.23 liras and 1,383.49 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 1,496.99 liras at 08.00 local time (0500 GMT), with the lowest at 999.97 liras at 19.00 local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 14.35 liras at 1130 GMT on Thursday.
