Pakistani, South Korean navies hold joint maritime drill in Arabian Sea

KARACHI, Pakistan

The Pakistani and South Korean warships took part in a joint maritime drill in the Arabian Sea, the Pakistan Navy said in a statement on Wednesday.

Pakistan Navy’s PNS Zulfikar and South Korean Navy’s Wang Geon warships took part in the drill, which is aimed at increasing the operational capabilities of the two forces.

Currently operating under a combined task force, both ships are working against drug smuggling and piracy, according to the statement.
