ANKARA
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday met with Iraqi Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
The meeting at the Erdogan's residence was held closed to the news media and it lasted over an hour.

On the other hand, Charge d'affaires with the Iraqi Embassy in Ankara has been summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry headquarters over recent remarks by Iraqi prime minister, Turkish diplomatic sources said.

Moreover, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with Esad Salihi, leader of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, in Ankara.
The meeting was held closed to the news media as Turkish diplomatic sources said that Davutoglu and Salihi discussed latest developments in Iraq.
