Hussein Muhammad Kylie, a commander from the Free Syrian Army (FSA), said that Turkey was rightful in demanding Patriot air defense system from NATO.
Assad was an enemy not only to his own people but also to the neighboring countries, and Turkey had to protect itself against a threat, added Kylie who spoke to AA on Tuesday.
Kylie, who is responsible from Latakia and Tartus regions, said that more than 50 percent of coastal part of the region was under the control of the Free Syrian Army, adding that 70 percent of the people in the coastal region were supporting the Free Syrian Army.
Also speaking to AA, another FSA commander responsible from Aleppo region Abdulcabbar Muhammad el-Ukeydi said that he left the Syrian army because he could not bear the cruelty made on people.
Ukeydi expressed hope that Assad would leave and democracy would come to Syria soon.
Ukeydi said that Turkey's Patriot demand was rightful, adding that it was a natural right of Turkey because it had to protect itself.
