BRUSSELS (AA) - NATO defense ministers met in Brussels on Tuesday to discuss preparations for 2014 summit to be hosted by the UK.
NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said they would discuss cyber defense, NATO’s Ballistic Missile Defense system, developments in Afghanistan after 2014 and NATO-Russia cooperation.
A meeting of the NATO-Russia Council will begin on the second day of the ministerial meeting, on Wednesday.
We will focus on NATO’s training, education, and exercises program after the completion of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF)'s mission in 2014, a NATO-led security mission in Afghanistan.
