The Turkish benchmark stock index closed Wednesday at 11,261.52 points, up 0.37% from the previous close.
The BIST 100 index, starting the last transaction day of the year at 11,249.6, gained 41.35 points from Tuesday's close.
The lowest point for the index during the day was 11,238.60, while the daily high was 11,324.36.
The BIST 100 index gained 14.56% in 2025, up from 9,830.56 points as of the end of 2024.
During the day, 57 indexes gained in value while 38 indexes lost on Wednesday.
The daily transaction volume was at 112.6 billion Turkish liras ($2.62 billion), while the overall value of the index was at 10.64 trillion liras ($248.3 billion) as of the end of the year.
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 42.9650 as of 6.25 pm local time (1525GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 50.4810, and the GBP/TRY traded at 57.7390.
The price of gold was $4,335.65 per ounce, while the barrel price of Brent oil was $61.45.
