ANKARA
Ankara Police on Monday conducted simultaneous operations against the terrorist organization DHKP-C at 20 separate locations after the Turkish Justice Ministry and headquarters of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party came under attacks recently by DHKP-C.
Police officers are conducting searches at various locations in Ankara, including the Liman-Is union.
Sources said that so far three people were detained.
One of those detained is believed to be the so-called Ankara leader of DHKP-C.
As part of the operations, police forces also began a search at Genel-Is Labor Union.
