Istanbul Governor Huseyin Mutlu visited the riot policemen in front of Taksim Gezi Park's Ataturk Cultural Center (AKM) on Wednesday, calling on marginal groups to end the spoiling protests for not to become obligate in front of law.
Speaking to the journalists after the visit, Mutlu stated that they were following the operations of security forces closely and noted that they were praying for them and their outstanding services.
"I called on the parents to look after their children at Gezi Park. I hope our call would find response and our youths would return to their homes," Mutlu told. "What they want to do is to turn up the growing future of Turkey and bringing us to their knees. However, this country will never kneel down and stay postured."
Mutlu stated that what marginal groups were doing was wrong and that "they should stop to unsettle peace in Turkey. Otherwise, they will need to become obligate in front of law in the face of dauntless tenacity of Turkish police and security forces."
