Senegal qualify for 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final
Team Senegal beat Burkina Faso 3-1 in semifinal with Lions of Teranga making AFCON final for 2nd time in row

Senegal made it into the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final with a 3-1 win against Burkina Faso late Wednesday.
Abdou Diallo scored from close range for Senegal, breaking the deadlock in the 70th minute of the semifinal at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Cameroon’s capital Yaounde.
Six minutes later, Senegal's midfielder Idrissa Gueye doubled the lead for his team, finishing in the box after Sadio Mane had passed from the byline.
Burkina Faso narrowed the gap to one when Blati Toure scored with his knee after a cross from the right in the 82nd minute.
Senegalese star Mane chipped the ball over Burkina Faso goalkeeper Farid Ouedraogo to double the gap on a quick counterattack in the 87th minute, making it 3-1.
Senegal secured the win to reserve their place in the 2021 final.
The Lions of Teranga qualified for the AFCON final for the second time in a row as Senegal were the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations runners-up.
In Sunday's final, Senegal will face host nation Cameroon or record AFCON winners Egypt.
On Thursday, Cameroon will play against Egypt at Yaounde's Stade d'Olembe.
Meanwhile, Burkina Faso are set for the third-place playoff on Sunday.
