Jonathan Ikone has joined Fiorentina, the Italian Serie A football club said on Monday.


"ACF Fiorentina is delighted to announce the signing of Nanitamo Jonathan Ikone from LOSC Lille on a permanent transfer," Ikone's new club said in a statement.

Ikone will wear no. 11 jersey at Fiorentina.


The 23-year-old was one of the main pillars of Lille and helped Les Dogues win the French Ligue 1 title last season.

French winger Ikone had played for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Montpellier before joining Lille in 2018.


In his three-and-a-half-year stint at Lille, Ikone scored 16 goals and made 27 assists in 150 club appearances.

Ikone holds four international caps and scored one goal for France.
