Three Syrians were killed as they were trying to make an illegal entry to Turkey in southeastern province of Mardin.
“A special team of police forces intervened in a group of Syrians trying to make an illegal entry into Turkey on the 9th km of Nusaybin-Kiziltepe road [along Mardin border], and three Syrians died during the incident,” said a statement from Mardin Governor's Office on Sunday.
The statement said an investigation was underway, and bodies of three Syrians were sent to Malatya Forensic Medicine Institute.
