IDLIB
While there is ongoing conflict in various districts of Syria every day, Syrians try to resume their lives by setting up tents in areas they consider safe.
The tent city set up six months ago in the Kah district of Idlib in Syria, where 5000 people live in the 600 tents, was viewed by Anadolu Agency.
Syrians, who are mainly women and children, struggle to live in poverty and cold in the Idlib province 10 kilometres away from the Turkish border.
Syrians sought refuge in areas they considered safe and couldn't get any of their belongings as their houses were bombed and destroyed. They live in the tents without electricity and water and lack basic necessities such as food and clothing.
Yaser Adil, responsible of the tents, said, "The people living in the tents are struggling to survive under difficult conditions. Nearly five thousand people live in 600 tents and they are mainly women and children. They are in desperate need of milk and diapers for babies. We call relief organizations to come and see the situation here and send more help."
