Turkey: Missing journo sparks opposition party concern

ANKARA
The main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader said on Tuesday that the whereabouts of missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi should be made public.
"We should immediately review our relations with Saudi Arabia," said Kemal Kilicdaroglu speaking to his party's parliamentary group.
"Those responsible for the case should be nabbed and brought to justice," he added.
Kilicdaroglu said that Saudi diplomats who are involved in the case should be deported from Turkey.
Khashoggi, a columnist for The Washington Post, has been missing since he entered the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has also expressed concern on the missing journalist, saying on Monday that Saudi officials must prove whether or not Khashoggi exited the building after entering, as they claim.
Istanbul prosecutors are investigating the incident, while the consulate said on Twitter that it was working in coordination with Turkish authorities.
Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman Hami Aksoy announced earlier Tuesday that a "search will be conducted in the [consulate] building as part of the investigation."
