Israeli army kills another Palestinian journalist in Gaza, as death toll reaches 217

One more Palestinian journalist was killed in an Israeli attack in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, taking the death toll since October 2023 to 217, local authorities said.
Ahmed al-Halou, a reporter for the local Al-Quds News Network, lost his life in an Israeli strike, Gaza’s government media office said, without specifying where he was killed.
His death brought the number of Palestinian journalists killed in Israeli attacks since October 2023 to 217.
The Israeli army has pursued a brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, killing more than 53,000 Palestinians so far, most of them women and children.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
