Hamas claims to kill Israeli soldiers, destroy 6 tanks in Gaza clashes
Hamas destroyed 12 Israeli military vehicles, including tanks, in Gaza Strip since Sunday, according to local Al-Aqsa TV

GAZA CITY, Palestine
Palestinian group Hamas claimed Monday to have killed several Israeli soldiers and destroyed a number of tanks in clashes in the Gaza Strip.
The group’s armed wing, the Qassam Brigades, said its fighters had engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces during which several soldiers were killed.
The Palestinian group said it had destroyed three Israeli tanks by anti-armor shells in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, two in Tel al-Hawa south of Gaza City, and one more northwest of Gaza City.
There was no comment yet from the Israeli army on the claim.
According to the local Al-Aqsa TV station, Hamas has destroyed 12 Israeli military vehicles, including tanks, in clashes in the Gaza Strip since Sunday.
Israel has launched air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.
More than 11,300 people have been killed in the conflict, including at least 9,770 Palestinians and nearly 1,600 Israelis.
Besides the large number of casualties and massive displacements, basic supplies are running low for Gaza’s 2.3 million residents due to the Israeli siege.
