Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 10,107.68 points, down 1.64% from the previous close.
After starting the week at 10,137.91 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 168.07 points from Friday's close.
The index's lowest value during the day was 10,093.23, while its daily high was 10,183.47.
During the day, 87 stocks on the index rose and 13 fell compared to the previous close.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 9.28 trillion Turkish liras ($234 billion), with a daily trading volume of 85.2 billion Turkish liras ($2.13 billion).
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,319.20, while Brent crude oil sold for around $68.70 per barrel as of 6.25 pm local time (1525GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 39.9945, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 46.9765, while one British pound trading for 54.6005 Turkish liras.
