Turkish stock exchange begins midweek up
BIST 100 index gains more than 10 points at Wednesday's open

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 10,008.49 points, up 0.1% or 10.29 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 was down 1.08% to 9,998.20 points, with a daily transaction volume of 99.9 billion Turkish liras ($2.5 billion),
As of 10.50 am local time (0725GMT), exchange rates stood at 40.0460 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 46.9290 to the euro, and 54.4555 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,293.20, while Brent crude oil was trading at $69.90 per barrel.
