Turkish stock exchange ends Tuesday with gains
Benchmark BIST 100 index earns 131.84 points at closing session

ISTANBUL
The Turkish benchmark stock index closed Tuesday at 10,080.35 points, up 1.33% from the previous close.
The BIST 100 index, starting the day at 9.972,96, gained 131.84 points from the close on Monday.
The lowest point for the index was 9,940.37, while the daily high was 10,137.36.
During the day, 81 indexes gained in value while 19 closed with losses.
The daily transaction volume reached 132.3 billion Turkish liras ($3.3 billion), while the overall value of the index was 9.26 trillion liras ($232.9 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 39.8342 as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT), the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 46.9555, and the British pound traded at 54.6775.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,342.95, while the barrel price of Brent oil was $66.70.
