Global energy group Engie reported a revenue of €82.6 billion for the fiscal year 2023, marking an 11.4% decrease from the previous year, the company announced on Thursday.
The Paris-based company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), excluding nuclear, jumped 12.7% to €13.7 billion, Engie said.
The firm also reported a high pace of growth in renewables, with 3.9 gigawatts (GW) of additional installed capacity in 2023, reaching a total of 41.4 GW.
“These results demonstrate the progress achieved in executing our strategy,' Engie's CEO, Catherine MacGregor, said.
'Over the last three years, Engie has been transforming itself, with our ambition to contribute to tomorrow’s energy system through our profitable growth,' she added.
