Baku will host Turkey-Azerbaijan advisory board meeting on the Southern Gas Corridor on Thursday.
The Trans Anatolia Natural Gas Pipeline, TANAP and Trans Adriatic Pipeline, TAP projects will be the main topics on the agenda for discussion.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and European Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic will give the opening speeches of the meeting, according to information from the Turkish Energy Ministry.
Senior officials of the project companies of TANAP, which will transmit natural gas from Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz field via Turkey through the TAP route to deliver gas to Europe, will be represented at the meeting.
Attendees at the meeting are expected to include, Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev, his Georgian counterpart Kakhaber Kaladzei, Greek Environment and Energy Minister Panagiotis Lafazanis, Energy and Industry Minister of Albania Damian Gjiknuri, Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenujka Petkova and Italian Deputy Minister of Industry Claudio De Vincenti.
