ISTANBUL (AA) - September 11, 2012 - Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) and Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) jointly hosted a conference on cooperating and doing business with China on Tuesday.
TUSIAD Executive Board Chairperson Umit Boyner stated that in the scope of gaining multi entrance Chinese business visa in short period of time has importance on both countries' commerce and investment relations. Not being eligible to gain the Chinese business visa at the needed time poses an obstacle on Turkey-China relations.
TUSIAD International and Turkey-China Business Council under Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) sponsored a conference titled "Understanding China and Cooperating with China" that hosts representatives of the business worlds of both countries.
Boyner stated that as China integrates into the global economy more and seeking for foreign investments lately; it will be advantageous for Turkish firms to invest in China and added, "Economic relations with China is important to Turkey. However there are no benefits to no countries when Turkish business people cannot get fast, multi entrance Chinese business visas in order to invest and hold good commercial relations."
Moreover Boyner stressed that Turkey's positioning of combining the European standards and dynamism of Asia is not only important from the geopolitics side of it but also brings out the creativity, entrepreneurship, pragmatism and cultural opening of Turkey which makes Turkey to become the closest European country to China.
