ISTANBUL
The gaming and animation initiative of Türkiye’s Bilisim Vadisi has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jordan Gaming Lab, marking its official entry into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The deal was signed during the Pocket Gamer Connects Aqaba event, held under the auspices of the Jordanian King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD).
Bilisim Vadisi General Manager Erkam Tuzgen and DIGIAGE Director Emre Yildiz represented Türkiye’s technology hub at the signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, DIGIAGE will launch the DIGIAGE MENA Game Acceleration Program in Jordan, exporting its paid accelerator and incubation model for the first time.
The 6-month program will provide technical, creative, and investment-focused training for young developers, aiming to boost regional entrepreneurship and strengthen the digital gaming ecosystem.
“This collaboration with Jordan Gaming Lab serves as a sustainable bridge enabling young developers in Jordan and neighboring countries to benefit from Türkiye’s game development expertise,” said Yildiz.
“It also signals a new era in which creativity and knowledge in the gaming ecosystem transcend borders,” he added.
Founded in 2011 under the initiative of King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and managed by KAFD, Jordan Gaming Lab is one of the region’s largest gaming clusters, working to develop Jordan’s digital gaming industry and train young talent.
Through the partnership, the two institutions will collaborate on game development, digital education, mentorship, knowledge exchange, and investment opportunities.
Bilisim Vadisi General Manager Erkam Tuzgen said Türkiye has developed significant capabilities in technology production and the gaming ecosystem.
“This step reflects how Türkiye’s entrepreneurship models are now being exported,” he said.
“The accelerator program in Jordan will provide not only technical know-how but also vision, mentorship, and investment access for young regional talents. Bringing together Türkiye’s strong gaming community with young MENA developers will enhance the creative capacity of both ecosystems,” he added.
According to Tuzgen, DIGIAGE’s expansion is more than an international collaboration, representing Türkiye’s integration into regional innovation through knowledge sharing in game technologies.
