Turkish company Karmod builds sustainable steel villa project in Bursa
Consisting of four 2-story villas with a total indoor area of 206 square meters each, project is designed to be completed within 40 days
ISTANBUL
Turkish prefabricated building company Karmod said it is developing a steel-frame villa project in Bursa’s Gemlik district as part of its commitment to sustainable architecture.
The project aims to set an example in sustainable housing, emphasizing energy efficiency, structural safety, and environmentally friendly materials. Consisting of four two-story villas with a total indoor area of 206 square meters each, the project is designed to be completed within 40 days.
“Our steel construction model enables the creation of fully sustainable homes, from the use of eco-friendly materials to structural safety and energy efficiency,” said Ugur Kadir, general manager of Karmod Prefabrik.
“We don’t limit sustainability to environmental and energy criteria alone. Considering Türkiye’s seismic realities, we also design long-lasting and safe steel homes,” he added.
Kadir said the villas combine ergonomic comfort with the safety of steel construction.
“The project represents a strong example of sustainable architecture,” he added.
“We have designed the homes in line with energy efficiency and renewable energy standards, and they are fully compatible with smart home systems. The prefabrication is carried out at our Tuzla facilities in Istanbul, and on-site assembly is performed by our teams,” he said.
