Kyrgyz president instructs officials to ensure safety of its diplomats in Iran
Foreign Ministry says safety measures aim to minimize potential risks to diplomatic personnel
ISTANBUL
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov on Monday instructed the country’s Foreign Ministry to take comprehensive measures to ensure the safety of its embassy staff in Iran amid ongoing US-Israeli joint attacks.
According to the diplomatic mission, Japarov was briefed on the continuing tensions in the Middle East, which are escalating as Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
The ministry underlined that the safety measures are aimed at minimizing potential risks to the lives and health of diplomatic personnel and their family members.
